June 20, 2020 - Drew Armstrong makes all three Clash at the Mag features
Thursday night saw Drew Armstrong return to action at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Miss.) for the three-day General Tire Clash at the Mag. Drawing 55 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries for the event co-sanctioned with the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS), Armstrong laid down the seventh fastest time in his group before capturing a 10-lap heat race victory. On Friday afternoon for another $5,000-to-win preliminary feature, Drew came two spots shy of a transfer position in his heat with a fifth place finish. Scoring a runner-up spot in his B-Main behind Joseph Joiner, Armstrong locked into the 22nd-starting position for the A-Main. Advancing forward five spots in the 25-lapper, Drew posted a 17th place finish.

With preliminary results on Thursday and Friday night setting the grid for the $15,000-to-win Clash at the Mag on Saturday evening, Armstrong rolled off on the pole of his B-Main for one last shot at the main event. Coming in second behind Michael Arnold, Drew earned the 21st-starting position for the finale. With $15,000 on the line, Drew Armstrong held his spot for all 100-laps to register a 21st place outing.

June 6, 2020 - Armstrong Lands Ninth Place Finish in Rockabilly 45 at I-30 Speedway
Drew Armstrong returned behind the wheel of the Lawson Motorsports No. 11J Late Model on Friday night at Texarkana 67 Speedway (Texarkana, Ark.) for the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) sanctioned program. After timing in second fastest in his group behind Timothy Culp, Armstrong posted at third place finish in his heat. With $3,000 on the line in the feature, Drew was an early retiree from the 40-lapper.

The following night at I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Ark.) for the 10th annual Rockabilly 45, Drew locked his spot into the $5,000-to-win A-Main with a third place finish in his heat. Rolling off 11th, Armstrong improved two spots in the 45-lap affair to place ninth. (Brandon Young photo)
