March 16, 2019 - Podium Finish in I-30 Speedway Season Opener
Drew Armstrong invaded I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) on Saturday evening for the track’s season opener. In a field of 32 IMCA Modifieds, Armstrong secured his spot into the $1,500-to-win A-Main with a 2nd place finish in his heat. Rolling off 3rd, Drew held his position for the entire distance to place 3rd behind Curtis Cook and JT Goodson with David Baser and Donnie Barnhart rounding out the Top-5.

March 9, 2019 - 6th Place Finish in Night Two of Southern Stampede at Southern OK
Thursday night saw Drew Armstrong in action at Southern Oklahoma Speedway (Ardmore, Oklahoma) for the 2nd annual Southern Stampede. Following a 3rd place finish in his heat, Armstrong captured a consolation victory positioning him 12th on the starting grid for the opening night feature. Breaking into the Top-10, Drew gained four spots to place 8th.

Returning on Friday to a field of 49 IMCA Modifieds, Armstrong started the night off with a heat race victory locking his spot into the $1,000-to-win A-Main. Coming one spot shy of a Top-5 finish, Drew improved two positions reeling an in a 6th place finish.

For the final round of the Southern Stampede on Saturday, Armstrong charged the field five spots in his heat to place 3rd. Earning the 25th-starting positon for the $3,000-to-win finale, Drew gained eight spots notching a 16th place outing.

February 16, 2019 - Armstrong Finishes 2nd in AZ Modified Tour Point Standings
Drew Armstrong returned to Central Arizona Speedway (Casa Grande, Arizona) on Monday night for the fourth round of the Arizona Modified Tour. Jumping up two spots in his heat, Drew streaked to an 8-lap heat race victory positioning him 4th on the starting grid for the A-Main. Improving one spot in the 25-lap affair, Armstrong notched a 3rd place finish behind Eddie Kirchoff and Ricky Thornton Jr. with Casey Arneson and Tyler Mecl completing the Top-5 finishers.

After a scheduled off-day on Tuesday, Armstrong was one of 60 IMCA Modifieds signed into Central Arizona Speedway (Casa Grande, Arizona) on Monday night for the fifth round of the tour. Falling short of a transfer spot in his heat race with a 7th place finish, Drew ran into mechanical issues in his B-Main that prevented him from finishing. Relying on a provisional into the $1,500-to-win A-Main, Drew Armstrong advanced through the field 18 spots reeling in a 7th place finish.

Returning on Friday evening, Drew followed up a 5th place finish in his heat with a 12-lap consolation win. Wheeling his way into the Top-10 in the feature, Armstrong passed eight cars to place 9th.

Wrapping up the Arizona Modified Tour on Saturday, Armstrong locked his spot into the $1,500-to-win finale with a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Jake O’Neil. Losing two spots in the 25-lap finale, Drew notched a 4th place finish behind Jake O’Neil, Ricky Thornton Jr., and Hunter Marriott with Nick O’Neil coming in 5th.

February 10, 2019 - Pair of Top 10 Finishes to Open Arizona Mod Tour
Bringing the 2019 season to life, Drew Armstrong made the trek to Arizona Speedway (Queen Creek, Arizona) on Friday night for the annual Arizona Mod Tour. In a stout field of 92 IMCA Modifieds, Armstrong secured his spot into the opening night feature with an 8-lap heat race victory. Breaking into the Top-10, Drew gained three spots to place 9th.

On Saturday night, Drew passed three cars in his heat to capture the 10-lap victory. Starting the $1,500-to-win A-Main in 5th, Armstrong dropped two positions in the 25-lapper logging a 7th place finish.

For the third round of the Arizona Mod Tour, Armstrong traveled to Central Arizona Speedway (Casa Grande, Arizona) on Sunday. After failing to qualify for the feature with a 2nd place finish in his heat, Drew streaked to an 8-lap consolation victory positioning him 17th on the starting grid for the main event. Holding his spot for all 25-laps, Drew Armstrong recorded a 17th place outing.

The Benton, Arkansas pilot has nine years of competition under his belt and is coming off a stellar 2018 campaign. He claimed the Modified Track Champion at I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) and Texarkana 67 Speedway (Texarkana, Texas) with his Ambush Legend Craft #01a Dove Plumbing Modified. Along the way he claimed his seventh IMCA Arkansas State Championship and finishing eighth in the national standings.

He also finished in the I-30 Speedway Super Stock points in the Norman Fletcher #9N entry.

Between the two divisions, Armstrong accumulated 23 victories.
